Sophie’s success as a rider & trainer has won her many awards, here are her most notable National & International achievements.

  • Passed all three sections of the British Dressage List 1 Judges exam. 2017 is the first year that judging exams have become modular and it means that Sophie is now a List 1 BD Judge (the highest level possible in GB) and allowed to judge all British Dressage classes at all levels, up to and including Grand Prix.


  • Upgraded to become a British Dressage List 2 Judge – able to judge all levels of British Eventing classes, all British Dressage Young Horse classes and all British Dressage classes up to and including Prix St Georges level.


  • 7th in Intermediare 1 Freestyle at Myerscough Premier League Show


  • 4th in PetPlan Intermediare 1 Area Festival


  • Winner of both the FEI Grand Prix & FEI Intermediare 2 classes at the Cornish Dressage Festival


  • Winning debut at Grand Prix level
  • 8th in Grand Prix at Myerscough Premier League show


  • 4th in Intermediare 2 at Hartpury Premier League show
  • Finalist in Badminton Young International Dressage Horse Championships


  • 5th in Prix St Georges at PetPlan Festival Final
  • Winner PetPlan Prix St Georges Area Festival (for the second time)

  • Awarded European Union Leonardo Scholarship to train Riding Instructors in Spain.


  • GB Team for Student Riding Nations Cup, Italy:
    Team & Individual Gold (Dressage & Show Jumping)


  • GB Team, World University Equestrian Championships, Switzerland: Winning individual bronze in dressage.
  • Finalist in the Sunday Times Sportswoman of the Year Awards.
