The weekly Wednesday evening clinics at Warminster Saddle Club (BA12 0DZ) are now being organised by Janet Border, who many of you will already know from Bath RC training sessions.
Warminster Saddle Club boasts excellent facilities for these evening clinics, with a beautiful 30x60m floodlit fibresand outdoor arena & full set of Jump4Joy fences for summer months and a smaller (20x40m) mirrored indoor arena for the winter months.
Access to the Saddle Club is easy & there is plenty of parking. Plus the sessions are open to all riders on their own horses or ponies. Groups vary from the very nervous/inexperienced horses and/or rider through to riders competing successfully in affiliated competitions (and for those of you aiming to the Warminster Winter League Dressage & Jumping Shows, it’s an ideal chance to train at the competition venue!)
These weekly clinics run from 5.00pm until 9.00pm through the winter months (depending on bookings) with up to five riders of a similar ability grouped in one hour slots in the indoor school during the winter months and up to six riders per group when we move outdoors through the summer.
All sessions are taught by Sophie, who has numerous years experience teaching group lessons and always tries to keep sessions friendly, fun and gently challenging for all involved.
Our organiser Janet has many years experience organising successful training sessions and, being a competition rider herself, understands what riders want from group training. Bookings for these sessions can be taken as far as three months in advance. Janet can be contacted by email at firstname.lastname@example.org or via telephone/text on 07765 252141.
Prices for these sessions are, Warminster Saddle Club Members £15, non-members £17.50 – please note that if you cancel your place after the group times have been sent out (approx. three days before each clinic), you will still be liable to pay for your place, unless a replacement can be found.
All sessions from October to April will be held in the indoor arena.
